the 1st outsiders of our families
before the start, some of us would never have known the notion of love untill the first strangers from outside our families came bearing it into our lives, as surely as we've entered theirs closely.
this love,
planted like a seed in another's heart,
it could be fragile
it could be glass
but in each breath it lives
and it grows as it believes
that it can be separate or in neglect,
but it will always be there,
for what was given
was always a part of itself.
