Yesterday i took out the weird shoes i bought when i was 17, i finally have a use for them today; i'd never known what they were for, just thought they're weird shoes, till i was 25ish; and now 12 years from the time i bought them, that is this afternoon, i will be happily walking knee deep in the sea with my surf mocs.
