end of internship
sugar coated memories
internship is over,
i learnt to eat chocolates in the afternoon in the office,
and swensen's ice cream for lunch which was my first time,
and celebrate birthdays with sneaky surprises,
and endure teases and fake-angry lectures,
and got to wear cool t-shirts,
and help people with a dogged persistence biting lips,
dancing in the annual party spastically,
and at the end of everyday,
i learnt to say goodbye cheerily
as i walked past their tables.
