11. SGT KIM�s TANGENT � HDB FLAT � EARLY MORNING
SGT KIM enters the sparse looking flat.
He unbuttons the top buttons of his shirt, walks past some plastic bags of soft drink cans and a stack of brown cardboard placed at a corner of the tiny living room, and enters the kitchen to get a drink from the fridge.
His mother, MOTHER KIM, a gray haired small-sized lady about 60-70 years age, is sitting in the kitchen, smoking and drinking a cup of black coffee.
