Join NaNoWriMo, lets become novelists
Dear Friends and people who have been reading this blog,
i would like to invite you to NaNoWriMo.

The National Novel Writing Month will start this year on November 1 and end on November 31.

Because of the limited writing window, the ONLY thing that matters in NaNoWriMo is output. It's all about quantity, not quality. The kamikaze approach forces you to lower your expectations, take risks, and write on the fly.

Make no mistake: You will be writing a lot of crap. And that's a good thing. By forcing yourself to write so intensely, you are giving yourself permission to make mistakes. To forgo the endless tweaking and editing and just create. To build without tearing down.

When can i brag that i've written a novel?

Untill i've written one.

I know i've been writing quite minimalist for a while, giving up descriptions of setting, people, and any sense of a plot, so as to protect the identities of those involved, namely me.

I hope by writing vomitously, full of purple prose, as descriptive as a young 12 year-old kid on his oral exam, talking about that black and white picture of a road accident scene before the grey-haired, glasses-falling-off-nose invigilator; i will be able to break this funk.

Let's start writing to become novelists!

and yes, i think i might be cheating by writing the continuing parts of japanese omelette 2. But i think i'm going to add alien abductions, bulldog pimps, mini motorcycles made of rubber tubing and wires, bloggers reading bloggers, and other assorted stuff. Totally wild and crazy. To meet the 50,000 word, 175-page requirement.
