The United Nations Foundation will donate US$100,000 for 100,000 signatures collected at www.saynotoviolence.org. This is for projects administered by the UN Trust Fund and UNIFEM.

"Recognising the need to improve working conditions for migrant workers (i.e. maids), most notably by giving them a day off, UNIFEM Singapore is working with local NGOs HOME (www.home.org.sg) and Transient Workers Count Too (www.twc2.org.sg) on a 'day off' campaign for Domestic Workers. One of the main aims of this campaign is to build public support for a change in legislation to give Domestic Workers one rest day a week."
